Food Cupboard & LDS Church pickup was a success!

Pictured here are Rev. David Randall-Bodman, Mac MacPherson, and Bob Burris, who, along with Jeff Winston and Mac’s daughter-in-law Priya, picked up and delivered part of the over 3,000+ pounds of food given to many food cupboards all over the USA by the Church of Latter-day Saints to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. These non-perishables are on view along the hallway, outside the sanctuary. Some are going out to clients right away.

Thanks to our unloaders David, Jeff, Mac, Bob, Karen, Antonio, Jim, Donna, Diana, Kim, and Lisa. Another thank you to the Beaverton LDS church and the Muslim Educational Trust, and the cities of Beaverton and Tigard.

For more information on our Food Cupboard and how you can join the team and make a difference, please reach out to the office via email at office@bethelbeaverton.org to be connected to our Food Cupboard ministry.

Get to Know Bethel's Food Cupboard Ministry!

With so much bad going on in the world, we want to share some good that you can do! Bethel's food ministry cares deeply for our community through the efforts of our Food Cupboard. This is open on Mondays from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM and on Wednesdays from 6 - 7 PM.

Our Outreach Committee will be offering an opportunity for people to learn more about how we run our Food ministry.

Outreach will be holding a Food Cupboard Open House

on Sunday, July 27 after the service at 11:10.

We’ll be showing all the areas of the church that are used by the food cupboard and how we manage it all.
